Will Steve Jones Be X Factor Host Next Season?

The following are some suggestions for the X Factor to say to Steve Jones if they decide to break up with him. Dear Steve Jones, it wasn't you, it was me. You deserve better than me. Maybe we can stay friends. 

I'm not sure anyone can live up to the level that Ryan Seacrest has set for that job, but I don't think it went well for Steve this season. Neither did The Hollywood Reporter in a recent review.  He had to rush Paula Abdul many times and blamed the producers. Ryan had to do the same thing with Paula on Idol and we hardly noticed. Ryan has an instant connection with the contestants, and Steve looked like he was trying to connect, but just couldn't. He  also seemed awkward at times with the judges, like last night when he tried to invite himself to Nicole's house for the holidays, to which she responded with a warm fuzzy,"what?", not once, but twice. He seems like a good guy, but I don't think we'll be seeing him next season. What do you think?
