If you think Jersey Shore boardwalks are among the most beautiful in the nation, you are clearly not alone. Four Jersey Shore boardwalks have been listed among iconic and beautiful boardwalks in the nation.

If there is anything we could use at the Jersey Shore at the halfway point of January is a little boardwalk talk. And if you love Jersey Shore boardwalks, then this news will warm your heart and mind.

The website Cheapism celebrated iconic and beautiful boardwalks in America in photos, and of the 4 New Jersey boardwalks making the cut, two of them are right here in Ocean County.

So which boardwalks made the list. We all know any of our boardwalks would have fit nicely on the list, the two local ones that made it were Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach and the Seaside Heights Boardwalk.

The other two from the Garden State that made the list published over the summer were Wildwood and, probably the most famous boardwalk in the world, in Atlantic City.

Now, it's not like us here at the Jersey Shore to be greedy or anything, but, as much as I love every boardwalk that made the list,  I'd like to throw the historic Asbury Park Boardwalk into the conversation here. With all that history and beauty I thought for sure I'd see it on this list, too.

Having said that, it's just nice to be talking about boardwalks in January, isn't it. And here's to hoping summer 2021 at the Jersey Shore is as close to normal as possible. Stay positive!
