5 Things That Should Replace The Toms River Toys “R” Us
Toys “R” Us on Hooper Avenue in Toms River will be closing their doors in the upcoming months, closing another chapter of brick-and-mortar retail stores being replaced with online e-commerce industry such as Amazon, eBay, and others.
This also closes a chapter on millions of childhood memories, including mine, of freaking out whenever mom or dad would take them to Toys "R" Us. Memories of parents and grandparents scaling the aisles during the holiday seasons, wondering what they should get their child or grandchild that would make them the happiest.
There has been speculation on what will replace the store, but there is no evidence to show that anything will take its place in the near future.
Here is a list of things that I would like to see take this lot:
Whole Foods
Cracker Barrel
Bass Pro Shop
Dave & Busters
Kroger
What would you like to see replace Toys “R” Us? Another store? What else could we possibly need in Ocean County? Leave a comment and let us know!
