Here in Jersey, we have a lot of different distinctions. One of them is being the home to what many called 'the world's most dangerous amusement park.' Action Park.

Directed and produced by Chris Charles Scott and Seth Porges, "Class Action Park" dives into the painful and controversial history of Vernon, NJ's Action Park.

The amusement park opened in 1978 and quickly became nicknamed "Traction Park" due to endless injuries. That was only the beginning. It's said that in the 18 years that Action Park was open there were too many lawsuits to count and even six deaths!

I mean, a concrete waterslide with a loop? Oh, don't forget about the open container policy. What could possibly go wrong?

This isn't the first time Action Park has gained mainstream attention. The amusement park was the inspiration for the feature film 'Action Point' from Johnny Knoxville.

One quote from the preview of the doc stood out to me.

If you’ve never heard of Action Park it’s an impossible myth your friends are making up and exaggerating, but it was true.
