Adorable Little Breakfast Nook in Ocean Grove

My current favorite restaurant for breakfast is one that I discovered one Sunday morning recently.

I was strolling around Ocean Grove near the Great Auditorium and came upon a sign for breakfast at the Starving Artist. So I found my way inside, and LOVED the atmosphere on a Sunday morning on a very cold day.

It was full of locals, all of whom the wait staff seemed to know, as conversations flowed and laughter abounded.

The food was delicious...and the size of my omelette was amazingly huge! Their coffee is absolutely fabulous, too!

I believe I overheard someone saying that this place is closed for the month of January, so check before you go.

It's a small, cozy place that is probably packed in the summer, but this time of year it's really wonderful.
