Meet Rex, our Point Pet of the Week.

Rex is a handsome 5-year old Pittie who has been at the Monmouth County SPCA...and before that he was at ANOTHER shelter in Philadelphia that the MCSPCA rescued him from.

Rex is now part of the MCSPCA's Buddy Program in which the staff and volunteers work with dogs to teach them their basic commands and help make these precious animals even MORE adoptable.

Turns out Rex is a real smarty-pants! He already knows sit, stay, touch, leave it, wait, and down :)

Rex has made a lot of friends since he first arrived at the MCSPCA. He takes some time to warm up but once he does he’ll enjoy lounging on your couch with you, going on adventures in the car, and taking trips to the beach like he does with his foster parents.

Rex would do best as an only-dog in the home. If you are interested in learning more about Rex, come in and speak with an adoption counselor or call the MCSPCA so that they can arrange to have him on premises to meet you when you arrive.
