According to forbes.com, the new American Dream mall in East Rutherford, NJ has decided to temporarily close starting Monday due to concerns over the Coronavirus outbreak.

Forbes says that American Dream co-chief executives Don and Mark Ghermezian said that the decision to close was in the best interest of guests and employees.  The Ghermezian's say they hope the mall will reopen by the start of April, but that they will follow the advice of public health agencies.

The DreamWorks Indoor Waterpark was scheduled to open on Thursday (March 19).



Forbes says that opening has been postponed.

American Dream opened in October of last year.
