You know that saying, "Third times a charm?"

His name is Anthony Fontanez and after auditioning for the Food Network series "Kids Baking Championship" two times and being turned away, he has finally made it through the third time around!

“After his third time trying out with 100,000 other kids, he’s finally made it through,” said Anthony's mother, Michelle Fontanez. “He loves baking and bakes every single day.”

“When I was 8 years old, I started watching ‘Kids Baking Championship’ and liked it,” said Anthony Fontanez. “I started looking up recipes and started testing them, and getting better at it."

Sounds like he has preparing for this change for practically all of his life!

Anthony will now face off against 11 other young bakers that were chosen from across the country for a 10-week competition!

The grand prize is a good one: $25,000 AND a feature in Food Network Magazine.

Tune in this upcoming Monday at 9:00 PM on the Food Network channel to see Anthony in action.

We are rooting for you, Ant!
