Are Wall, New Jersey Drivers The Jersey Shore’s Most Impatient?

So I came up with this random, wild idea, that from a scientific standpoint amounts to nothing. But after spending the afternoon in 4 different Monmouth and Ocean County towns trying my best to get beeped at, we may have uncovered some interesting findings.

Everybody knows our reputation around here is that we are not the most patient region of the world. And while that may be true, I thought we were dealing with a little case of exaggeration.

So I came up with a little plan to test it out. I would go to random traffic lights in a few local towns, intentionally stay put when the light turns green, and see how long it took before somebody beeped at me. Dangerous business, but I'm a dedicated guy.

So, I started in the place that just recently was named he town with the worst traffic light, Brick (Route 70 and Chambers Bridge Rd.), and worked my way through wall, Asbury Park and Eatontown, before wrapping the day up with another light in Brick.

First of all, kudos to the Asbury Park driver. Bottle that patience and sell it, you'll make a million.

So, without question the most impatient driver we came across was the young gentleman in Wall. Now, there is no indication that this represents all Wall drivers, as a matter of fact, the guy might not even be from Wall.

So, the jury is still out on the town with the most impatient drivers, but one thing is for sure. I've got a stopwatch, and I've got all day.
