The BBQ Capital Of New Jersey Is In Point Pleasant Beach
I have been spending a ton of time in Point Pleasant Beach. It's one of my favorite Jersey Shore towns. The beautiful beach town offers awesome local businesses, delicious restaurants, and the locals are very kind. Maybe one day when I have a wife and kids, I will live in Point Pleasant Beach. I think that's a great goal to have!
I love eating at Bam Bam Burger Co, getting surf gear at Gordon's, and seeing comedy shows at Uncle Vinnies Comedy Club. However, this article is highlighting the BBQ spots in town. I truly believe Point Pleasant Beach is the BBQ capital of New Jersey. More below!
Think about it. There are three wonderful BBQ restaurants on Arnold Ave. All three spots are loved by many, and they are all literally yards to each other. No specific order...
#3. Shore Points BBQ
816 Arnold Ave, Point Pleasant Beach
Google Review: Awesome BBQ joint. Amazing food. Unique breakfast menu. Can get very busy in the summer months. Service tends to be slow, but do not let this deter you. Fresh high-quality food. This place has your usual BBQ stuff and there own twist on many items. Been here several times. Plan to come here several more times. This is without a doubt, my favorite BBQ place at the Jersey Shore!
#2. Offshore BBQ
713 Arnold Ave, Point Pleasant Beach
Google Review: Best smoked barbeque ever...and I went to school in Texas. Richie the owner greets you like an old friend. Catering, night with the pitmaster, tailgate parties, weddings you name it Offshore BBQ delivers.
#1. Jersey Shore BBQ (JSBBQ) Point Pleasant Beach
710 Arnold Ave, Point Pleasant Beach
Google Review: First time visiting the Point Pleasant Beach location, I used to frequent Belmar. Food was excellent, staff was friendly and welcoming. They have a unique menu, it is definitely a stop for any diehard BBQ fan passing through the area. 10/10 would recommend.
You can't forget about Woodchucks & the Hickory Hog. Both of those locations are in Point Pleasant, but not Point Pleasant Beach. So, I have to ask, which spot is your favorite?! COMMENT & SHARE!
