Blood drives were one of the events that have been canceled these past few months due to the COVID-19 pandemic and as a result, hospitals blood supplies have been, "getting lighter by the minute."

So it is important that if you can, to attend and donate that this upcoming Jersey Shore event.

Coming up on July 1st from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, NJ Blood Services will be hosting a blood drive at Freehold Raceway Mall.

The donation center will be set up next to White House Black Market near the Cheesecake Factory.

To donate blood, please make an appointment either online by CLICKING HERE or by calling 1 (800) 933-2566. An appointment is not required but it is strongly recommended so the donation center can maintain social distancing among donors and staff.

Donors MUST wear a face mask and will have their temperature checked before they are allowed to donate.

If you have had COVID-19, you must be symptom-free for at least 14 days. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to donate.

NJ Blood Services are open for regular appointments, including their office in Howell.
