Brick Police make three drug arrests, two for lewdness outside Pleasure Zone

Five Jersey Shore men were arrested by police in Brick over the last couple weeks in the Pleasure Zone parking lot for behavior that was very unbefitting.

On Tuesday, January 28, around 11:15pm, a Brick Police Officer observed an occupied vehicle in the rear parking lot of the Pleasure Zone, parked near the back entrance of the establishment.

When he approached the vehicle he noticed the driver, John Shipley, 37, Point Pleasant had his pants down...and his genitalia exposed.

Shipley was quickly charged with lewdness and released on a summons.

On Monday, February 10 around 7:53pm, a Brick Police Officer observed a suspicious occupied vehicle parked in the rear parking lot.

With the assistance of a K9 Officer and his partner Echo, an investigation at the scene found several items of drug paraphernalia and controlled dangerous substances.

The driver, Michael Gachineiro, 42, Brick, was found in possession of methamphetamine, a metal smoking pipe with methamphetamine residue and marijuana.

The passenger, Christopher McGuckin, 27, Holmdel, was found to have marijuana in his possession.

Gachineiro was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia. He was lodged in Ocean County Jail.

McGuckin was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia and was released on a summons.

On Wednesday, February 12, around 7:08pm, Brick Police Street Crimes Unit Detectives investigated a suspicious male.

As they investigate the individual for less than one minute, the male offered one of the detectives a marijuana cigarette.

The male was arrested and identified as Luis Marrero, 59, Brick. He was charged with the possession of a controlled dangerous substance and released on a summons.

On Thursday, February 13, around 10:23pm, a Brick Police Officer observed an occupied vehicle parked in the rear parking lot.

As he approached the vehicle he observed the driver, Mario Boemio, 43, Toms River, sitting in the driver’s seat with his genitalia exposed, masturbating, while watching a pornographic video on his cell phone.

Boemio was placed under arrest and charged with Lewdness. He was released on a summons.
