Burlington County man who led police in car chase arrested

Stealing a car Saturday March 31 wasn't enough for a Riverside Township man who police say failed to stop when officers tried pulling the car over leading to a pursuit around 4:10 pm near 6th Street and Locust Street.

Eventually the driver stopped but then got out and fled on foot.

Officers caught up to 24-year old Michael Gurrola and placed him under arrest where he now awaits multiple charges.

Police say a records check of Gurrola revealed he was on Post Release Community Supervision.

Gurrola was jailed for possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest and probation violations.
