Our Point Pet of the Week is going to steal your heart.

Meet the Monmouth County SPCA's very special, sugary-sweet girl, Sammi Sweetheart.

Sammi came to the MCSPCA as a stray from Neptune and the shelter couldn’t track down her owner so they happily welcomed her into their MCSPCA family.

This 2-year old Terrier mix is a star student in the shelter's Buddy Program which teaches their resident canines life skills to make them even more adoptable. Sammi knows “sit”, “stay”, “leave it”, “down” and “touch”.

Sammi loves long walks with her shelter friends and playing in the park with her toys.

An all-around adorable girl who would be the perfect addition to any home.
