Check Out this NJ Drive-Thru that Features 5,000 Jack-O-Lanterns
Time for a Halloween road trip!
Skylands Stadium is in Augusta, New Jersey, part of Sussex County. It's a really beautiful part of the state. There are amazing open spaces, rolling hills, and farmland surrounding the area.
Skylands Stadium, home of the Sussex County Miners pro baseball team is located at the intersection of Routes 15 and 206. Once a year the venue is also the home of the Jack-O-Lantern Experience.
Now through November 1, the stadium and surrounding cornfields will be decorated with over 5,000+ Jack-O-Lanterns. I've been to this place and it's one of the coolest sites you will ever see. It's perfect for families of all ages, date nights, and anybody who loves Halloween. The drive-thru is safe and has been designed for social distancing.
Also, check out their Fall Festival before or after your Jack-O-Lantern journey. There's free parking and free admission included for all Jack-O-Lantern Experience attendees. Dive into the Fall food, taste the seasonal craft beer, enjoy carnival rides, a petting zoo, and more! The Fall Festival is open from 6-10 pm to 10 pm on event nights throughout the Jack-O-Lantern Experience. Of course, food, drink, and attractions are additional costs.
You must purchase tickets online ahead of time and the limited spaces available are filling up quickly. The events are rain or shine and you will have to print your ticket from home and present it when you arrive. They ask that everybody arrives at least 15 minutes before their designated time.
Here's a little preview.
