Some dentist offices throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties are taking part in a Halloween Candy Buyback Program where kids can drop off their candy in exchange for money.

Ocean Pediatrics Dental Associates, with offices in Toms River, Manahawkin and Cream Ridge, has been participating in the Halloween Candy Buy Back Program for more than a decade.

Kids will receive $1 per pound of candy, 5 pounds max per child.

They’re looking to help reduce the amount of candy in the homes of kids while sending care packages to our troops.

Drop-off dates are set for November 6th and 7th from 9am-4pm in all 3 offices.
