For years Chick-fil-A has been trying to get the go ahead for a Hazlet location next to the movie theatre, and now it's coming!

I have been saying for so long that there aren't nearly enough convenient Chick-fil-A drive-throughs in Monmouth County anywhere near the shoreline...so now we will be getting one in northern Monmouth near the Bayshore and I am thrilled! The only other Monmouth County locations are all the way in Howell or inside Monmouth and Freehold Raceway Malls (but no drive-through so you have to park and walk into the food court to get your chicken fix.)

AND, as if that's not enough great news -- you can now purchase your favorite Chick-fil-A sauces!!! Yep...they have bottled 'em! A friend of mine recently picked some up at the Brick location.

There is nothing that thrills me more in the fast-food world than a convenient Chick-fil-A. Between their chicken sandwiches with a pickle on top and their fries dipped in their original sauce...it is such a treat!

And congrats to Chick-fil-A for having not one, but TWO of their chicken sandwiches (the regular and the spicy) in the top five (their original is #1!) on Ranker!

And not only am I gushing about all of the above, but it still holds true today that Chick-fil-A is the model when it comes to best service. They have it down. You may see a long line at their drive-throughs but it moves fast and with happy servers!

No word on exactly when the Hazlet location will open, but we'll keep you posted!

(There's also a new Chick-fil-A opening soon on Texas Road in Old Bridge on the Monmouth County border!)

The other two Chick-fil-A locations in Monmouth County are inside Freehold Raceway Mall and in Howell. And in Ocean County we have one in Brick.
