You think this summer is going to be one of the biggest, most appreciated summers of all time at the Jersey Shore? You’re right. But just wait until Christmas.

I can’t believe I actually said it, but I did. And with good reason. This week marks the halfway point to Christmas, and here’s why I think Christmas 2021 is going to be even bigger than Summer 2021.

If you recall, we were able to do some things last summer. The COVID numbers were low, and even though pandemic restrictions were in place, we could go to the beach, take a stroll on the boardwalk, and enjoy outdoor dining. And even though all that is true, we are still chomping at the bit to soak up every second this season has to offer.

Now think back to last Christmas. A whole different ballgame, right? Virus numbers were high. Shopping was difficult, and you could do absolutely nothing outdoors. I “celebrated” with my family in my sister’s driveway.

So, of course, we are not going to rush anything this summer. We’ll enjoy every minute, and it will be a historic season for Shore businesses. But buckle up for Christmas, which is exactly six months from this Friday. This Christmas is going to be the most wonderful time of any year.

And by the way, if you can't make it until December, you don't have to. You just have to wait until July. Jenkinson's is getting ready for a Christmas in July. It takes place July 27th and 28th, and Santa will be there! Happy holidays!
