Who is the Italian Husband on TikTok?

@thepasinis on TikTok are an adorable husband and wife named Jessi and Alessio. Alessio is Italian, and Jessi often "pranks" him or tapes his reaction to Italian American traditions. One time, Jessi gave Alessio Chef Boyardee for lunch and told him she made it, another time, she overcooked his pasta, and Jessi also made Alessio try Lunchables.

And don't feel too bad for Alessio, he gets Jessi back with pranks too! The Pasinis have some really cute videos when you need a light-hearted laugh. This brings me to this hysterical video.

The History of Dominick the Donkey

Everyone in New Jersey knows the story of Dominick the Donkey. He's the Italian Christmas Donkey who brings presents to kids! But does he have any historical ties to Italy? Apparently not. According to Explore Italian Culture, our little pal Dominick is exclusively Italian-American and isn't known in Italy. Sad hee-haw.

Alessio Hears Dominick the Donkey for the First Time

Now that we know Dominick the Donkey isn't a true Italian song, Alessio's hysterical reaction makes a lot more sense. Get ready to crack up at Alessio's confusion and borderline offended reaction to one of New Jersey's favorite Christmas songs.
