Can you believe we are already talking about Christmas?

Well, a Jersey Shore tradition is quickly approaching so mark your calendars.

On Friday, December 7th from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM is the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at the Library and Town Hall Courtyard located at 33 Washing Street in Toms River.

There will be live holiday entertainment (we will have a more specific schedule when it gets closer), a reading of "A Christmas Carol" by Mrs. Claus, and then Santa will arrive on a fire truck at 7:00 PM to light the town tree!

Then once the tree is lit, everyone can get photos taken with Santa and there will be hot chocolate and cookies for sale by Fire Co. #1. There will also be a Food & Dessert truck and other downtown restaurants will be open.

If you need more information or have any questions, contact Downtown Toms River at (732) 341-8738 or KDippolito@DowntownTomsRiver.com.
