Experts told Redbook in an article that there are ways to know if you need some therapy for your relationship. Here are some things to keep an eye out for.

You spend a lot of time in separate rooms. You should consider it a red flag if you or your partner actively try to be in separate rooms for large chunks of time. It's fine once in a while, but if it's a regular thing, watch out.

Having the same fight over and over. Unresolved fights, even if they're over seemingly little things, are a sign that there are unresolved issues, and if it leads to anything from yelling to silence, a professional may need to help you work through it.

Communicating better with acquaintances at work. If you find that you are talking more to the person at work that you don't even really like than you are to the person you are in a committed relationship with, you may need to get help figuring out why.
