A Hoboken man is pulled over for having tinted windows on his 2015 Nissan in Lakehurst but is arrested for having a large amount of weed in his car.

Police made the collar of 37-year old Eric W. McNulty Wednesday near Union Avenue and Orange Street around 2:47 pm after finding the raw Marijuana packaged for resale along with Ecstasy pills, Percocet, a scale and other drug paraphernalia during an on scene investigation.

McNulty was also found to have an active Hudson County Superior Court warrant out for his arrest in the amount of $4,182.00.

Following his arrest he was transported to Lakehurst Police Headquarters for processing and charged with Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of Ecstasy, Possession of Percocet and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

McNulty was issued a summons for the charges and transported to the Ocean County Jail where he was lodged under the strength of the active warrant, pending a mandatory court appearance with the Ocean County and Hudson County Superior Courts.

The public is reminded that all criminal charges are merely accusations and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
