New Jerseyans are known for speeding, cutting people off, not using their blinker, being angry and impatient, flipping others the bird....what were we talking about again?

No but seriously: New Jersey drivers are one of a kind.

I feel like we all have seen things happen on our roads that just make us go, "Wow," but this one might be a new low....at least for me.

I was driving down Route 37 in Toms River when I made a right hand turn onto Central Avenue in Island Heights.

In case you are not familiar with this area, it is 10000% residential. Here's what you would see if you made the same right hand turn as I did.

I was driving 25 mph -- aka the speed limit for the area -- when a car drove up behind me and was tailgating big time.

I did not have the time nor the patience to pay this driver any mind.

I continued on my way when this driver screeches to my left and then speeds passed me as they swerve back to the right hand lane.

Apparently driving the speed limit was just too difficult.

This is so dangerous and it is a driving choice I hope I never see at the Jersey Shore again.

Not that driving irradicably is ever okay but when you pull a crazy move like this where kids could be on the sidewalk playing, it makes it that much worse.

When this little dare devil decided to pull this stunt, we were only a few blocks away from the coast where cars must be extra aware of pedestrians.

Imagine this stunt happened during the Summer time.....

There are an infinite number of things that could have gone wrong here and we are both lucky that this driving incident went by unscathed.

To this crazy driver: I hope reaching your destination an extra 30 seconds earlier was worth it. Next time you may not be so lucky.
