DWI Checkpoint In Holmdel This Friday (4/12)

We have told you that law enforcement is not messing around in April.

There is a DWI checkpoint scheduled for this Friday (4/12) at the Dearborn Market on Route 35 in Holmdel from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

This announcement comes from the Allenhurst police Chief Michael Schneider, the task force's coordinator.

Drivers headed south will be stopped by law enforcement to do random sobriety checks in the plaza's parking lot.

There have been a lot of different announcements regarding safety driving rules including a crackdown on distracted driving and new rules that come into play when you are driving with a pet in the car.

We've said it before but we will say it again -- drive responsibly and safely out there.
