We all know that everything in New Jersey is expensive, so it shouldn't be a surprise to any of us that the upcoming Superbowl at MetLife Stadium is expected to cost of $70 million, the most ever, anywhere.

According to the article at nj.com, that would make it the most expensive in Superbowl history. It is up to The New York/New Jersey Super Bowl Host Committee to raise the funds. They say they have already spent $11.4 million, according to nj.com. That committee has the Jets owner Robert "Woody" Johnson and one of the Giants' owners, Jonathan Tisch as co-chairs.

So, get ready for New Jersey to be on top of yet another "most expensive list". It doesn't even surprise us anymore. And of course, we realistically can't expect either the Giants or the Jets to be partaking in the big game. That would have been too much fun.

In case you're not following the football season too closely, after the Giants win and Jets loss yesterday, it would take a minor miracle for either team to just make the playoffs, let alone the Superbowl that will take place at their home stadium.
