They say it's good to go out on a high note. On my last week of summer movie predictions, I got one right. That makes two right for the summer. Yep, the whole summer.

I can't exactly boast about getting two right. Especially since I got about fifteen wrong. But this was a good week, so let's talk about it. The horror flick The Possession took the number one spot, pulling in a little over $21.3 million. I had picked The Possession and predicted it would bring in $ 11 million. Alright, nobody's perfect.

Unfortunately for the movie industry it signalled the end of a disappointing season at the theaters. After an awesome start, summer attendance was down 4% from last summer and was the lowest in 20 years, according to Hollywood.com.
