Get To the Soul Kitchen Chili Cook-Off Saturday in Toms River

Which First Responders will win it this year? You get to try all the chili and vote!You're invited to taste some of the best chili in Monmouth/Ocean at the 5th Annual JBJ Soul Kitchen Chili Cook-Off in Toms River as they highlight the police, EMS, and firefighters in our area.

For a $20 donation, you get to sample all of the chili and then vote for your favorite. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be announced at the event.

The Chili Cook-Off is this Saturday, Oct. 5th, from 1 pm - 4 pm at Soul Kitchen, 1769 Hooper Ave. in Toms River.

The reigning champs are the Toms River Police Department and they are back to defend their title! And Soul Kitchen's Chef Rob will be serving palate-cleaning hors d'oeuvres. You will love his food as much as I do!

South Toms River First Aid Squad: R&R Rescue Chili (first time entry)

Stafford Township EMS: Get The Stretcher Chili (first time entry)

Lakewood Police SOA: CC's Beanless Chili

Toms River Fire Company 1: The Boys on the Hill Chili

There will also be activities for your kids and a performance from some of the talented children of the Zak G Applaud Our Kids Foundation.
