Last night the Golden Globe Awards were handed out, and New Jersey was well represented with nominations.

Now it's time to find out how many Golden Globe nominees with New Jersey ties took home an award. Let's check the Golden Globes New Jersey report card...

Best TV Movie or Limited Series. Chernobyl. Creator, writer and producer Craig Mazin grew up in Marlboro and went to Freehold High School and Princeton University.

Best Actor in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy. Ramy Youssef, Ramy was raised in Rutherford and stars in the Hulu series.

Meryl Streep (Best Supporting Actress in A Limited Series, TV Series or Movie), Kirsten Dunst (Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy) and Joe Pesci (Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture) were all nominated, but none went home with the Golden Globe.

Also, New Jersey guys Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd were nominated for Best Actor in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy, but lost it to the other Jersey guy nominated in that category, Ramy Youssef.
