Bucket List New Jersey Restaurants

There is certainly no shortage of great restaurants in New Jersey, and everyone has their opinions on which one is the best.

It is certainly a slippery slope to start the conversation, so we better agree that it's alright to disagree on this one before we even get started.

Throw in the opinions of the experts, and we might just be able to come up with a bucket list of restaurants to try this spring and summer. And most of them are outside the Jersey Shore area, so you probably hadn't tried them yet.

Here's what some experts say about which restaurants are the best in the Garden State...

Trip Savvy - Heirloom Kitchen. Heirloom Kitchen is in Old Bridge, and Trip Savvy raves about the menu, which includes great vegan dishes. it's located on Route 516.

Daily Meal - Top's Diner. This place gets a lot of publicity from national outlets. And people who have been to Top's Diner believed the attention is well deserved. If you haven't, don't worry. It's on your new handy bucket list.

Business Insider - Frog & The Peach. This restaurant is a great experience and has been for years, and a couple of years back, The Frog & The Peach was named best in the state on a national stage. And it's not too far away, right in New Brunswick.

So, there you go. Now that the weather is starting to break in the right direction, it should be easy to check these 3 great, and very different restaurants off the list.

BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank.
