I was at Haunted Hall in Asbury Park Saturday night and a lot of people were telling their stories of haunted places, and the name Stephen Crane House came up.

The Stephen Crane House in Asbury Park is a place that is rich in history, having been the home of the famous Red Badge of Courage author. There have been reports of ghost and the sounds of kids playing, according to hauntedplaces.org.

The home even got a visit from the SyFy channel's Ghost Hunters, although according to thestephencranehouse.org, " no unwarranted apparitions appeared in the circa 1878 residence aside from some enormous paranormal dust bunnies."
