How The Jersey Shore Can Help Hurricane Harvey Victims
Many experts are saying Hurricane Harvey will be a multi-billion-dollar disaster as some areas of Texas could receive as much as 40 inches of rain when all is said and done. Here's what we can do to help our friends in the south.
Donate to The American Red Cross
With torrential rain expected through mid-week, and some areas two feet under water, first responders can't even reach those that need help. Rescue and repair efforts will daunting and likely last a very long time.
The American Red Cross is on the ground in affected areas, and more volunteers are being called in.
The best way we can help is to make a donation to Red Cross.
- Text "HARVEY" to 90999 to make a $10 donation
- Visit redcross.org
- Call 1-800-RED-CROSS
Texas Diaper Bank
Since 1997 the Texas Diaper Bank has been working to meet the basic needs of vulnerable babies, children with disabilities and seniors.
Diapers are not part of disaster relief.

Help Displaced Pets
Austin Pets Alive! has transported hundreds of displaced animals to their no-kill shelter. This number will continue to rise, and so will this non-profit's costs.
