The study was published at World Population Review, and it used several factors to determine the most fun and most boring states in America.
Is New Jersey One Of America's Most Fun States?
The good news, and the bad news, is that New Jersey is neither. So, how did we do on the ranking?
One of the factors was the level of each state's nightlife, and the study used a WalletHub report of each state's entertainment rank, nightlife rank, and total boring score.
New Jersey ranked as the state with the 35th best nightlife. Uh-oh. This isn't a good start.
When it comes to entertainment, the study ranked us as the 34th best state in the nation. This isn't good.
With our "total boring score" at 30.6, New Jersey is the 37th most boring state in the country, and I think most of us can live with that.
