Miriam Carey did an article for Lovefood that highlighted the Best Breakfast Sammy's in America, including the selection for New Jersey.

According to Lovefood, "You can't go wrong with a breakfast sandwich, especially when it's crammed full of favorites like bacon, eggs, oozy cheese, and crispy hash browns. From simple sausages on sliced bread to biscuits, bagels, and French toast, we've found the best breakfast sandwich in every state – all are well worth getting out of bed for."

Mordi’s Sandwich Shop, Jersey City, is home to the best breakfast sandwich, and I have to admit I want this sandwich lol

Mordi's has the Breakfast Schnitzel sandwich, and it sounds delicious to me.

Lovefood said, "The ginormous Breakfast Schnitzel at Mordi’s Sandwich Shop includes everything you’d expect from a breakfast sandwich – Cheddar, bacon, a fried egg, tomatoes, ketchup, and garlic aioli – plus a well-seasoned and wonderfully crisp piece of fried chicken. The sweet challah bun is the cherry on top. The shop is run by Israeli chef Mordechai Chichportiche, whose favorite food growing up was (surprise, surprise!) schnitzel."

I love Oktoberfest foods, and schnitzel is one of my favorites, so I am all in. Next time I'm in Jersey City, I will swing by and visit. What do you think?
