For more than 35 years, Ocean's Harbor House has been doing some exceptional work for so many youths in our local community in Ocean County and beyond, but there is a great call to action now to help them help others.

This Toms River, Ocean County-based nonprofit has helped so many at-risk youth and teenagers between the ages of 10-19 and has a targeted focus on the issues that are still very much prevalent today in Youth Homelessness, Youth and Families in Crisis, and Sexual Exploitation of Children -- which includes sex trafficking -- and all of it happening in our backyards.

There has been remarkable comeback, redemption, rescue stories from those who have received the heartwarming and dedicated care from those volunteering and working at Ocean's Harbor House over the years.

For an inside look at what they do and the call for action from Gov. Phil Murphy and state legislators to help provide funding that was cut a couple years ago from non-profits like Ocean's Harbor House and others, OHH Executive Director, Alice Woods, and OHH Development Director, Tim Zeiss, were guests on Sunday morning on 'Shore Time with Vin and Dave' on 94.3 The Point discussing these very important issues and much more.

Help Find These 62 Missing New Jersey Children

NJ arrests 31 accused child predators in Operation 24/7

A roundup of 31 men have been accused of sexually exploiting children online, state Attorney General Gurbir Grewal announced on July 14 while detailing "Operation 24/7."

The suspects “possessed and or distributed videos and images of child sexual abuse, including in many cases videos of young children being raped by adults,” Grewal said.

Chat apps and gaming platforms remain favorite hunting grounds for child predators and even as the pandemic winds down, many children have continued to spend more time online.

State Police received 39% more tips in just the first 6 months of 2021 than they received in the entire year in 2019. The following are suspects charged in "Operation 24/7."
