This Beloved New Jersey Ramen Spot Finally Gets a Permanent Home
A beloved ramen hot spot in New Jersey and the chef are now moving into a permanent location for everyone to enjoy.

According to New Jersey Digest, "Chef KC Gonzalez served his first bowls of ramen at pop-ups across North Jersey. He called the operation Tenmomi. Eventually, he moved into a 'ghost kitchen' space in Nutley, where he dished out brothy bowls of noodles and pork buns in a takeout-only concept. Then came his ghost kitchen in Upper Bergen County, set in the back of a Westwood Italian joint."
Now Chef Gonzalez will move into a new restaurant in Rutherford, New Jersey. "A space opened up inside the Williams Center, a popular music venue and event space on Park Ave that has gone through a similar evolution of its own over the past half decade."
Good luck to Chef Gonzalez, and we will have to visit and enjoy your delicious ramen.
Ramen is much more than just the dollar cup of noodles you can get at Dollar Tree. There is a culinary art when it comes to making these delicious noodles, so let's look at the background of these popular noodles.
Ramen noodles actually began in China but took off in Japan in the early 1900s as a cheap, filling street food. After World War II, they became even more popular because people needed affordable meals.
