For the first time, I've taken care of everyone's gifts super early. That's a huge accomplishment for me!

According to Forbes, most people are shopping online this year, with online sales increasing by 2.5%. Online shopping is way more convenient than going out to crowded malls to get shopping done. And I feel companies have made online shopping way more efficient since the pandemic.

But, not surprisingly, the article also states that overall spending is down. Inflation has made it more difficult for people to spend as much as they used to on gifts. Wouldn't it be nice if Santa could bring us some lower prices?

It looks like New Jerseyans are buying one gift more than others with the money they're spending on holiday gifts this year. Tap Into Raritan Bay shared a story with the most popular 2022 holiday gifts per Rakuten.

Before I spill the beans on what is on most New Jerseyans' Christmas lists, I'll mention some other front runners from the article. The PlayStation 5 was the most popular gift in the country, and the Dyson Air Wrap was also highly requested.

New Jersey had different ideas. According to Rakuten, the most popular gift for New Jerseyans this year is the Nintendo Switch! So, if you're still looking for a last-minute gift for someone, a Switch may be a good idea.
