Whatever you call it...a sub...grinder...hoagie...sandwich or hero, the good news is that you can call it a local lunch!  We love Jersey Mikes Subs and apparently you do too because they are growing like crazy! They opened another location this week, and there are 9 more coming in the next few months is there one coming to your town?

If you want to lunch-dream with me here's the menu. We love that this whole thing started right here at the Jersey Shore.  Back in 1956 point Pleasant got the first taste of Jersey Mikes and now they are in almost every state nationwide!  They have 111 spots in Jersey alone (and growing). I'm literally so hangry right now!

The new shop opened yesterday at 548 New York Ave in Lyndhurst. They are open from 10am - 9pm everyday! They are always giving back so for the grand opening launch they are holding a fundraiser to support Lyndhurst Middle School.

They are opening nine more New Jersey locations too including spots in Ewing, Newark, Wanaque, Denville, Hillsdale, Montgomery, Morris Township, Short Hills and Totowa...they are feeding America!

We just got a new location in my town too. Way to go Jersey Mikes! I'm coming there for lunch today so get that #13 Original Italian ready and yes...splash on the juice and make it Mike's way!

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
