You Don’t Want To Miss These Summer Events This Week
Tonight Music Monday Presents: Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses at Springwood Park near the train station in Asbury Park at 7 PM.
Tuesday the Summer Concert Series continues at the Freehold Raceway Mall with the British Invasion Years. Grab a blanket and some snacks, the fun starts at 6:30.
Movies in the Park are back at Riverside Gardens Park in Red Bank this Tuesday with the family-friendly Disney film, “Ralph Breaks the Internet.”
Wednesday night grab some friends and a blanket as the free Summer Movie Series continues at Festival Plaza in Pier Village in Long Branch this week showing “Captain Marvel.” Movies start at Dusk.
Wednesday night, Hermit Crab Races happen at the Jenkinson’s Aquarium in Point Pleasant Beach 5 – 6 PM. Then at 7 PM the Inlet Music Festival kicks off with Danny V’s 52nd Street Band, a Billy Joel tribute band on Jenkinson’s Boardwalk.
The weekly Asbury Park Bonfire happens on Wednesday this week at First Avenue Beach across from Mogo at 7 PM.
Hey Ladies, Thursday grab and friend and stroll Arnold and Bay avenues as the 6th Annual Ladies Night Out takes place in Downtown Point Pleasant with in store specials, raffles, prizes, hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and more.
Brick Township’s 25th SummerFest happens on Thursday night, featuring Brian Kirk and the Jirks, a beer and wine garden, and more.
Belmar Movies on the Beach this Saturday just after dusk with “The Incredibles 2.”
The Summer BBQ Series continues this Saturday at the JBJ Soul Kitchen in Toms River. A night of family fun, community and delicious food. BBQ starts at 4 PM
The Annual Freehold Township Day takes place on Saturday at the Michael Tighe Park with live music, rides, tasty treats, vendors, a car show, fireworks and more. BYOC, bring your own chair. 4 – 11 PM
Next Saturday and Sunday the Surf and Turf Seafood Festival is back at Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport with ocean fresh lobster rolls, crab cakes, coconut shrimp, clam chowder and more. Plus treats for the landlubber. AND on Sunday it’s a Family Fun Day with free pony rides, bounce house fun and more. Remember you can take NJ transit to the track.
Saturday the Marel Hidalgo Band performs live at the Bradley Beach Fountain on the promenade. 11 AM to 1PM.
Bands By The Beach is back at West End Park in Long Branch at 7 PM Sunday, this week with Jobonnano. In the case of bad weather, the performance will move inside to Jack’s Goal Line.
