You Can’t Miss These Jersey Shore October Events

Friday, you can spend an “Evening with Edgar Allen Poe” at the Historic Village at Allaire.  A spine chilling evening with the retelling of Edgar Allen Poe’s classic tales in the historic chapel.

The Ocean County Italian Street Festival happens next Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Grant Avenue in Seaside Heights.  There will be all kinds of deliciousness, live entertainment, mummers, exhibits, bands, the parade on Sunday and more.

Saturday and Sunday it’s the Annual Oktoberfest at the Asbury Festhalle and Biergarten with plenty of beer, food and live Polka music.

The annual Keyport Music Festival happens on Front Street next Saturday with awesome sounds, great food, craft beer and more.

Saturday join 94.3 The Point for the Manasquan Inlet Intracoastal Tug, presented by Jersey Mike’s, both sides of the Manasquan Inlet from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Proceeds of the tug are benefiting Manasquan & Point Pleasant Beach recreation departments.

Saturday, grab the kids and some blankets and maybe some hot cocoa as the Fall Movie Series kicks off at Festival Plaza in Pier Village, Long Branch this Saturday at 7 PM with Back to the Future.

Sunday, it’s the Beer Run 5K and Craft Beer Festival at the Historic Village at Allaire.  Here’s the low down; start off with the 5K and burn your calories for the day.  Cross the finish line right into the Craft Beer Festival portion of the day with a tasting glass, live music, lawn games, food trucks and all kinds of tasty craft beer.

Sunday it’s Flannels and Food Trucks at Monmouth Park Racetrack.  The food trucks return for one final time this season, accompanied by live music and live racing.
