Be on the lookout for two DWI checkpoints this weekend in Monmouth County.

The first will be Holmdel and will begin at 9 p.m. Friday night and wrap up at 1 a.m Saturday morning. While we don't have a specific location, we do know that vehicles traveling southbound on Route 35 will be stopped and checked for impairment.

The second checkpoint will be in West Long Branch and will span from 9 p.m. on Friday and run until 1 a.m. Sunday. Again, the specific location of the checkpoint was not shared by officials, but we do know all cars going west on Route 36 will be stopped and checked for driver sobriety.

As always, if you drive safe and sober, you'll have no issues. However, do make sure all of your necessary documents are in your vehicle and that anything that may warrant a summons is taken care of. All vehicles are subject to be stopped.
