So far, there is not one...not two...but FIVE DWI  Checkpoint scheduled at the Jersey Shore this Saturday!

DUI Checkpoints will be set up in Toms River, Lavallette, Point Pleasant Beach, Seaside Heights and Seaside Park from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

The specific locations of the checkpoints are not being released to the public.

I guess it is not THAT surprising that patrols are keeping an eye on all surrounding towns being that Seaside Heights is hosting their Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade this Saturday.

There will be extra officers on the roads looking for signs of impaired and erratic driving in all five Jersey Shore towns listed above.

"If you see someone you believe is posing a hazard because of poor driving behaviors, please dial 77 from a hands-free mobile device to contact the aggressive driver tip and make a report," said Ocean County Prosecutor, Bradley D. Billhimer. "Please be prepared to give a description of the vehicle and occupants, a location and direction, and a license plate if possible."

Remember to always driver sober because otherwise, you are putting yourself and the others around you in serious danger.

There are so many other options: Uber, Lyft, taxi, designated driver or walk (if able).

And if you choose not to, please remember that your irresponsible actions could drastically and negatively effect someone else's life. You don't want that burden. Avoid it and drink responsibly.
