Street Music Performances Friday and Saturday Night in Downtown Freehold.
Friday, enjoy a walking, lantern-lit Ghost Tour of Red Bank. Tours meet in front of the Dublin House on Monmouth Street. Ticket sales start at 8, tour leaves at 8:30. Tickets can be purchased at www.jerseyshoreghosttours.net.
Middletown Day 2018 happens this Saturday at the Croyden Hall School with activities for all ages, including a business and community showcase, craft fair, live local music, children’s activities, a petting zoo, hayrides, flea market, food court and more. Rain or Shine. 11 AM to 5 PM

Saturday, rain or shine, the Soul Kitchen locations in Toms River and Red Bank hold their Empty Bowls Event with light refreshments and snacks from noon until 3 PM. Both Restaurants are open for dinner 5 – 7 PM. For a $20 donation, select an artist made bowl for you to keep and provide a meal for someone in need through Soul Kitchen.
Saturday in Asbury Park it’s the Second Annual Porchfest from 1 to 5 PM. A free music event of local bands on local porches. Local musicians play on front porches for an audience that moves from home to home enjoying live music throughout the day. Rain Date September 23rd.
Saturday, it’s Rockfest at the Track, music festival at Monmouth Park Racetrack with Brian Kirk and the Jirks, the Matt O’Ree Band, Moroccan Sheepherders and more. 10 Am to 10 PM.
Saturday, It’s Keyport Fest, 5K and Sidewalk Sale. The 5K kicks off at 8:30 AM on West Front Street, followed by the Sidewalk Sale all day long, and the music line up starts at 10 AM at the Keyport Waterfront.
Saturday, the Historic Village at Allaire hosts the 19th Century Fall Harvest Festival with demonstrations, old fashioned games, dancing, vendors, crafters and more. Hours: 11AM - 4PM
Sunday, the Beach Haus Brewery holds their 4th Annual Oktoberfest Celebration with specialty brews, oompah music and wurst pairing. Noon till 4 PM.
