'Hang 10' With Jimmy G & Blue Moon At The 2021 Belmar Pro

If I'm not broadcasting shows or writing articles for 94.3 The Point, I am probably in the ocean bodyboarding. It's my favorite hobby and I like to tell people that being a radio personality is my profession but being a bodyboarder is my passion. There are days I wish I was riding massive waves for a living, but let's be real, bodyboarding in New Jersey doesn't pay the bills...or does it?

Thanks to my awesome friends at Shore Point Distributing, I will hang 10 with Blue Moon this September at the Playa Bowls Belmar Pro. What does that mean? Well, there are a few things...

On Thursday, September 9th I will be competing in the Custom X Men's Bodyboarding Open. I will be decked out in Blue Moon swag going up against some of the world's greatest bodyboarders. I hope all of you can come out and root me on, I am going to need it. Make sure to stop by the Blue Moon tent all weekend long for your chance to win prizes!
On Friday, September 10th "Hang 10" with me at Joe's Surf Shack in Belmar. There will be LIVE music by Anthony Lee Loops & The Thunder Heard. Every 10 minutes from 5-7 pm, I will have your chance to win Blue Moon giveaways. One lucky winner will take home a $300 Blue Moon surfboard! Enjoy Blue Moon Belgian White drafts for $5 and Blue Moon Light Sky cans for $5.
The party doesn't stop! On Saturday, September 11th Blue Moon and I will be stopping by some of the Jersey Shore's hottest hangouts. From 1-2 pm we will be at Pig and Parrot Sandbar in Brielle, from 3-4 pm we will be at the Salty Whale in Manasquan, from 4:30 - 5:30 pm we will be at Reef and Barrel in Manasquan, and from 6-7 pm we will be partying at 10th Ave. Burrito! At all locations, you will be able to enjoy Blue Moon specials, win prizes, and a few of you will take home $300 Blue Moon surfboards!

Belmar Make The List?! Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
