Justin Bieber Dishes on What Makes a Great ‘Boyfriend’

In ‘Boyfriend,’ Justin Bieber sings of what he would do if he were his lady’s man, so, naturally, the pop star has his own views on what makes a great significant other.

“To be a great boyfriend you just have to have patience,” the Canadian singer, who’s dating actress Selena Gomez, recently told E! News. “You’re always wrong when it comes to girls, you’re always wrong, so just say sorry when things are rough.”

That’s pretty wise advice coming from the 18-year-old star, who also revealed to Radio Disney that he’s a “loving and patient and kind and gentle” kind of guy.

He continued, “It’s just about being honest with one another. You just have to be honest, that’s the first thing, because if you’re not honest then the relationship is just not a good relationship. At the end of the day, your girl would appreciate you being honest more than lying to her and vice versa.”

Well, it’s working for Selena! Bieber’s ‘Boyfriend’ single has risen to the top of the iTunes singles chart in less than one day, proving that the singer is still unstoppable. The song is the first release from the Biebs’ forthcoming album, ‘Believe,’ which will arrive this year.
