The colonel has left the building on Route 35 in Neptune City as KFC has shut down for good.
The big sign on the building has been removed. Instead, there's a new sign on the door that reads "this restaurant is no longer open. Please visit us at Route 36 Airport Plaza Hazlet."
APP is reporting that the restaurant on the corner of Route 35 and Third is available to be leased.
