Lake Como man charged with dealing drugs in a school zone
A Lake Como man is sitting in the Monmouth County Jail after police executed a search warrant and found a slew of drugs in his Belmont Avenue home, which is also in a school zone.
Preston Dodge, 46, is facing 19-narcotic related charges including the distribution of crystal meth, crack-cocaine, cbd oils, xanax and marijuana and also was in possession of anabolic steroids, suboxone, hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia.
He was also under the influence when police arrested him.
The Belmar Police Department concluded an investigation into a narcotic distribution operation within the Borough of Lake Como with the execution of a search warrant.
Dodge was charged with 19 narcotic related charges, including distribution of crystal methamphetamine over 1/2 ounce, distribution of crack cocaine over 1/2 ounce, distribution of cbd oils over an ounce, distribution of Xanax, distribution of marijuana over 50 grams, possession of anabolic steroids, possession of suboxone, possession of hypodermic needles, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance.
These narcotic offenses occurred within a school zone and Dodge was charged accordingly with those offenses as well.
The charges were placed on a criminal warrant and Dodge was sent to Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail.
