The Jersey Shore has dealt with it's first wintry storm, and the weather conditions have created power outages in Monmouth & Ocean Counties.

As we check early this morning, JCP&L is reporting many power outages in the area, most of which are in Monmouth County. As a matter of fact, there are nearly 5,700 outages and Ocean County has just under 500.

The Monmouth County town with the highest number of outages is Tinton Falls which has over 1200, and Long Branch with over 730 reported. Wall Township is dealing with just over 650 at the time of this report.

Lacey Township tops Ocean County's list according to JCP&L with 235 households without power, while Jackson is reporting 166 outages.Monmouth and Ovean Counties represent a vasy majority of the outages for JCP&L right now.
