On October 31 Asbury Park will add one more treat to town.

That's when cocktail lounge Laylow will open in the basement of restaurant Reyla at 603 Mattison Avenue.

Laylow is going to get creative with their cocktails. They call them "off the wall inventions" in a press release. How can you not be intrigued by a peanut butter and jelly drink called the "Lunchbox Old Fashioned?"

The space is described as “cool, funky, and hip. And since Laylow is in Asbury Park, it's also said to be "music-inspired."

If alcohol isn't you're thing, I would still give Laylow a try. Bar manager Pasquale Pipi told APP that they are experimenting with low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages. He says the goal is to make everyone a part of the party and to be inclusive.

The bar food menu will have the classics, but also some unique creations from Chef Antony Bustamante. Would you try a chicken liver mousse cannoli?

Check out Laylow Thursdays-Saturdays from 5 pm to 2 am.
