So many people want to help make a difference in the lives of their neighbors at the Jersey Shore. That feeling of togetherness is one of the great blessings of being a Jersey Shore resident.

With that in mind, I thought it would be great to get as much information about volunteering at the Jersey Shore together and make it easy to find, so that those who want to help will know exactly how.

Today, we will focus on volunteering for the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. They are a wonderful organization and The Point is proud to work closely with them. Here are the details on volunteering for the FoodBank.

The FoodBank serves 131,000 people in our area, so your time would be very valuable to them. Some of the things you might do as a volunteer include helping with office work, sorting donations and organizing food drives.

You can get all the information about becoming a volunteer at the Foodbank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties' website.
