When comedian Jeff Norris moved to Brick, he didn't expect to meet his local veterinarian so quickly, and he certainly didn't expect to meet him the way he did.

Jeff was barely into his new home when his dog, Takota, injured her eye on some shrubbery. Jeff didn't know where to go. One of his new neighbors sent him to Bricktown Veterinary Hospital. He was in such a hurry to get the dog there, he didn't even bring his wallet, a fact he realized when it was time to pay. After he found out everything was fine with Takota he went to pay, and obviously couldn't. They told him not to worry about it saying, "Welcome to the neighborhood."

Jeff never forgot, and when he found out about Brick Veterinary's Molly Marie Angel Fund, a fund used to pay for vet services for homeless pets, he knew he had to help. So each year he hosts an awesome comedy night to benefit the fund.  This year's show is this Saturday night at the Brick Elks Lodge #2151 on Hooper Ave. at 8pm.

In addition to Jeff's amazing comedy, Renee DeLorenzo and Chipps Cooney (from America's Got Talent) will also be featured and I'm proud to serve as the night's emcee. Come out for a great cause and night of hysterical comedy.  Get ticket info at Jeff's website. It's www.jeffnorris.com.
